Embark on a groundbreaking journey with the Vision 2030 9th Grade Strategy! Unveil a future where all California high school students, starting in the 9th grade, can earn a minimum of 12 dual enrollment units through community college transfer, career, or apprenticeship pathways. This inclusive opportunity is now extended to Rising Scholars justice-involved youth in court schools, detention, and beyond. Join us in this transformative initiative led by Dual Enrollment and Rising Scholars practitioners, bringing college experiences to students.
Who Should Attend?
Who Should Attend: Day 1 - executive leadership of education institutions and institutions or organizations serving high school students in dual enrollment, including justice-involved youth.
Day 1 and 2 - practitioners serving high school students in dual enrollment, including justice-involved youth, this may include coordinators, directors, counselors, instructors, and case managers.
Location:
Day 1- Coil School for the Arts, RCC Satellite - The Day 1 meeting space will be at RCC’s COIL School for the Arts, located at the corner of Market St. and University Ave. (3890 University Ave., Riverside, CA 92501).
Day 2 - Riverside City College - The Day 2 meeting spaces will be located in our Quadrangle (Quad – QD) building in the center of campus. It is located on Terracina Drive (see red star on the parking map below), very close to the parking structure. Signage will be out to point the way.

Parking
For downtown parking on Day 1 (March 14), we have spaces in one parking structure (P3), located at 3750 Market Street.
Guests will obtain a ticket from the garage attendee when they park. Guests’ parking stubs will be validated at the event’s registration desk. Parking validation is only valid at the P3 parking structure.
For the Day 2 event on March 15, we will be on the Riverside City College main campus (4800 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92501). Parking will be in our parking structure at the corner of Magnolia Ave. and Terracina Drive. Parking is free, and no ticket stub or permit is needed.
